About Dutch Treat

In the 1950s the De Vries yard investigated new production techniques, such as series construction, and new materials, such as polyester. But for the time being, it was decided to stick to current skill set and continue to build vessels to specific customers' requirements. The 13.72m Dutch Treat, launched in 1954, is an example of that period.
