De Vries Group Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw

The cradle of the De Vries Group is in Aalsmeer, a small town just south of Amsterdam. It was here, in 1906, that Han de Vries first opened a yard. Initially building in wood, De Vries rapidly expanded into steel and aluminium sail and power yachts. Today, Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw in Aalsmeer is the pivot of a proud and successful group of companies, dedicated to building custom superyachts of the highest calibre.

Synergies are achieved by the partnership and knowledge exchange with De Vries Scheepsbouw Makkum. Two yards, one client experience during the building process under the umbrella of the De Vries Group, which constantly strives for the most superior quality possible.

In Aalsmeer, the impressive facilities include three dry docks, spread across five hectares. Highly skilled craftsmen are responsible for the launching of an average of three motoryachts a year from under 40 to over 80 metres in length.
