Etherea: a new Feadship design available for delivery in three years
Introducing Etherea, a new Feadship design created to bring together generations of experience in one carefully considered project. With a delivery time of three years, Etherea offers a rare opportunity for those seeking a yacht in this size range with a clear and assured path to completion.
Her design draws on the knowledge gained from decades of one-of-a-kind Feadships, refined into a coherent vision shaped around comfort, continuity and life on the water throughout the year. Etherea represents the very best of what we have learned, expressed in a form that is ready to move forward.
At 75.50 metres, Etherea presents a timeless profile developed by Studio De Voogt. A split-level architecture allows for generous exterior and interior spaces while keeping the overall silhouette elegant and low. Structural glass plays a defining role throughout the design, bringing natural light deep into the yacht and creating unbroken sightlines across decks. This sense of openness flows from the bridge and stair atrium to the new bow lounge and the Wintergarden, a true four-season space that can be opened to the elements or enclosed for comfort during colder months.
Across the exterior decks, comfort and clarity of design come together in a series of terraces focused around a pool with glass sides and a glass bottom, illuminating the spa below. Subtle wind protection is integrated into each level, ensuring year-round use without compromising the purity of the lines.
Inside, the concept takes inspiration from the Californian coast, translated into natural tones, tactile textures and a calm, residential atmosphere. The layout has been shaped as a true home on the water, offering continuous connection between life indoors and outdoors. The full owners deck includes a private foredeck Jacuzzi, while six guest suites on the main deck provide generous accommodation for family and friends.
Etherea is engineered with a modern diesel-electric propulsion system, comprising IMO Tier III compliant generators coupled to electric thrusters for smooth, quiet and efficient cruising. Designed to accommodate emerging sustainable technologies, the system keeps Etherea ready for future advances in propulsion.
As Jan-Bart Verkuyl, Feadship Director, summarises the project: “Etherea brings together everything we have learned from building fully custom Feadships over many decades. She represents a mature and carefully shaped design with a clear path to delivery, offering a rare opportunity for those who wish to begin their Feadship journey within a defined timeframe.”
Together, these elements form a yacht that reflects Feadship’s long experience in creating bespoke projects while offering a clear, well developed route towards completion. Etherea stands as a considered and confident design shaped by proven knowledge and crafted to the highest standards from the outset.
