About Witvis
Designed in Switzerland and built 1956 by shipyard Nicolaas Witsen in Alkmaar: the hydrofoil “Witvis” used as workboat. Although the boat was equipped with a relatively small propeller, with her twin 235hp engines @ 3,000 rpm, she was able to reach a maximum speed of nearly 75 kph / 46.6 mph.
