During the 1960s, De Vries and Van Lent were active in building yachts for various European countries including Germany, France and Belgium. Both families' excellent reputation began to play a crucial part in maintaining good relations with clients. As remains the case today, repeat orders often resulted - the 18.60m Tiky, launched in 1961, and the 17.80m Sirena, launched in 1967, were respectively the fourth and third yachts for the same owner.
