About Raram

Since the early 1930s, building in steel had become the De Vries yard's second nature. This was a remarkable decade of success for the De Vries family. In all, over 270 yachts had been completed, in the process allowing the yard to build up considerable experience with the needs of the global market. The facilities had been extensively improved and updated on a site, which by 1938 was employing 65 skilled craftsmen.
