Jardell
1970
This is Jardell
After a trip on the Hudson River aboard Malcom Forbes’s The Highlander, trucking magnate Jim Ryder decided to build a The Highlander of his own. That yacht became Jardell, named from Jim's initials and that of his then wife, Olive Dell. The 45.00-metre yacht’s launch included a now legendary 31-kilogram cake in the shape of the yacht.
