About Camargo IV

A vital landmark for Feadship, Camargo IV was the first yacht to be delivered under the new Feadship-Holland U.A. name. With a length of 35.25m and breadth of 6.61m, this was the largest yacht ever built by De Vries at this time. With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the yacht benefited from the very latest radar and automatic pilot equipment. The automatic sprinkler system, fresh water makers and air conditioning were also ultra modern by the standards of the day. And there were even four televisions and an Ampex hi-fi system on-board.
