About Tatasu

Tatasu’s Owner likes to keep her yacht up to date. In the process to renew the entire main and bridge deck interior she decided to adopt the idea of her neighbors on Vava to have an elevator fitted as well. However, giving in the main staircase was a step too far, so an alternative idea had to be developed to make this possible. The Feadship refit team and naval architects were consulted again to come up with a solution for Tatasu. So they did and the elevator could be commissioned between two summer seasons not too far away from her winter berth in Palma de Mallorca. The time was also used to do some of the interior work and have the whole aft deck face lifted on the bridge deck. The Chief Engineer saw his chances to turn some budget into a sewage treatment upgrade.
