About Vrouwe Christina

Surprise was expressed in the late 1950s when the order came in from an American owner for one of the most traditional of all Dutch designs, the Paviljoen Tjalk. The shallow draft of this 23.04m flat-bottomed boat was considered perfect for sailing the inland waters of the United States.
